KAS Paper Systems has recently designed, manufactured and installed a bespoke envelope inserter for a customer in France.
The customer, whose postcard App allows subscribers to upload holiday photographs for example, prints the images onto postcards which are then inserted into envelopes on the KAS machine.
The KAS inserter feeds each postcard, reading a 2D barcode on the card, inserts the postcard into an envelope which it then seals and turns over before printing the recipient’s address from the 2D code, on the envelope.
